• Thrifty, Brave & Clean Vol 3 is the third compilation from Tim Love Lee's “folk” label, Boy Scout Recordings, sister label to Tummy Touch Records.

A few years ago renegade DJ and A&R man Tim Love Lee turned his back on the fickle trends and drunken squalor of Shoreditch and Dalston in East London and followed his heart to Brooklyn, where the civilizing effects of a good woman and long country walks lead him to a new appreciation of music that touches the heart and head as much as it touches the tummy and moves the feet. Gathering around him a bunch of like-minded souls, who, though divided by the Atlantic Ocean were united in spirit, Tim founded Boy Scout Recordings.

Thrifty, Brave & Clean is the label's motto and the name of their label compilations, and represents a return to the roots – talented musicians creating exciting music which aims for the stars, aided and abetted by the steely determination of a rugged and uniformed label staff.
